Armed Robber Steals $500 In Tiburon

A gunman made off with about $500 in cash when he robbed a man Friday afternoon, Tiburon police said.

 The gunman fled in a waiting car driven by a second man, according to police. The car was later located by police in Richmond and two people were detained.

TIBURON, CA — A gunman made off with about $500 in cash when he robbed a man Friday afternoon, Tiburon police said.

The incident occurred about 3:15 p.m. in the area of Janet Way and Andrew Drive, police said.

The gunman demanded cash from the victim and fired one shot, police said. The victim handed over $500, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
