Chamber Music Marin Presents: The Viano Quartet / Sunday, May 5

Chamber Music Marin presents Viano Quartet as part of their 2023-24 Chamber Music Concert Series, presenting world-renowned classical musicians in intimate concerts at affordable prices.

Since its inception in 1973, the all-volunteer nonprofit has presented hundreds of nationally and internationally recognized touring musicians to audiences totalling over 50,000 guests. Many of these musicians are rising stars, with notable musicians such as Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell and world renowned pianist Angela Hewitt having performed in past concert series.

The Viano Quartet aims to unite the dichotomy between collaborative and soloistic music making to create a voice that speaks both distinctly and as one cohesive force. They believe in uplifting the individual through dynamic teamwork and uncovering the personal nuances of collaboration to invigorate communities. Through a charismatic and fiery approach, their music tells a unique story that speaks authentically to each audience member and empowers a new generation of artists.

This exciting young string quartet is in residence at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia when not touring.
