A vehicle crash has knocked out power to parts of Sausalito and Marin City on Wednesday afternoon, Sausalito city officials said.

The crash occurred on Coloma Street near the intersection of Bridgeway, the main thoroughfare in Sausalito. PG&E's outage map indicates the outage started shortly after 12:30 p.m. and is affecting more than 2,000 customers, with an estimated restoration time of Wednesday evening.

City officials said water service may also be unavailable to some customers in the area because of a hydrant that was damaged in the crash.
