Find A California Coastal Cleanup Day Event Near You

Here's how to sign up for the state's largest annual volunteer event, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17.

California Coastal Cleanup Day, the state’s largest annual volunteer event, is less than a week away.

The California Coastal Commission and agencies throughout the state invite everyone to take part in the 32nd annual cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 17 at nearly 900 sites along more than 2,000 miles of coastal and inland shoreline.

To find and register for a cleanup event at the beach, lake, pond, creek or river nearest you, go to Coastalcleanupday.org and view a statewide map. Find your local area, then click on the interactive icons containing all the information you’ll need.
