Freebie Alert Mill Valley Parents: McDonald's Breakfast Offered To Kids Tuesday

Children in grades K-8, when accompanied by an adult, can score free back-to-school breakfast.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – In celebration of the new school year, McDonald's is offering a free breakfast to all school children from kindergarten through grade 8 on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Each child, younger than 13 and accompanied by an adult, can enjoy any breakfast muffin sandwich, apple slices or Yoplait Go-Gurt low-fat strawberry yogurt, and milk — free of charge.

"Research continues to show that breakfast is important not only for children's health, but for academic achievement, cognitive development and mental health," said Alice Fagundes, California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Chair. "This is a great program to celebrate the busy back-to-school season as McDonald's provides a wide array of breakfast options for families on the go."
