Grinding, Paving Work Scheduled Next Month Along Tiburon Blvd

Caltrans is scheduled to complete several days of overnight work along State Route 131 in early June. Here's the plan.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Traffic controls will be in place early next month as Caltrans crews complete grinding and paving work along several stretches of State Route 131 around Mill Valley and Tiburon.

The overnight work is scheduled to begin Sunday, June 4, and conclude Friday, June 9, and drivers should expect intermittent, one-way traffic from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Here is the work schedule, per Caltrans:

  • Sunday, June 4 to the morning of Monday, June 5 (between Lyford Drive and San Rafael Avenue).
  • Monday, June 5 to the morning of Tuesday, June 6 (between San Rafael Avenue and Trestle Glen Boulevard).
  • Tuesday, June 6 to the morning of Wednesday, June 7 (between Cecilia Way and Trestle Glen Boulevard).
  • Wednesday, June 7 to the morning of Thursday, June 8 (between Redwood Frontage Road and Blackfield Drive).
  • Thursday, June 8 to the morning of Friday, June 9 (between Redwood Frontage Road and Blackfield Drive).
  • Friday, June 9 to the morning of Saturday, June 10 (location to be determined).

Officials said residents should expect delays in the area, and those living close to the work zone may hear some late-night noise. As usual, Caltrans asks drivers to use caution and slow down for workers.
