Holy Week @ Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Mill Valley

Please join us for all of our Holy Week services either in person at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 3 Oakdale Ave, Mill Valley, or via our live-stream (LS) on Facebook (link below).

RECONCILIATION: Saturday, March 23, 3PM-4PM, in the church.

PALM SUNDAY SERVICES: Sunday, March 24, 7:15AM and 10:30AM (LS). Palms will be distributed before all Masses and blessed during the Mass. The formal procession of Passion Sunday will be at 10:30AM Mass.

RECONCILIATION SERVICE: Monday, March 25, 7:00PM, in the church. (Please note that this is the last scheduled opportunity to celebrate reconciliation before Easter.)

TAIZÉ PRAYER AROUND THE CROSS, Wednesday, March 27: 6:30PM, in the church.

TRIDUUM:

HOLY THURSDAY, March 28: Mass of the Lord’s Supper -7:30PM (LS), followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 9:30PM. (Please note that there will be no 7:45am Mass this day.)

GOOD FRIDAY (NO MASS), March 29: Prayer & Stations Noon - 1:30PM; Liturgy of Good Friday with Communion, 1:30PM – 3:00PM (both LS).

HOLY SATURDAY, March 30: Easter Vigil Mass – 8:30 PM (LS). Together at this special Vigil Mass, we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord, beginning in darkness and moving and towards his light. This is the major celebration of the Church’s liturgical year. (Please note that there will be no 7:45am Mass this day.)

You may bring a small piece of paper (3” x 5”) to the Easter Vigil with the names of those who have died since last Easter. These will be used in the Easter fire to remember those who have entered through death into the eternal and resurrected life of Jesus.

EASTER SUNDAY, March 31: Masses at 7:15 AM and 10:30 AM (LS)

If you wish to donate a potted Easter Lily designated in the memory of someone, please deliver the flower to the church by Good Friday afternoon, along with a small card with the person’s name on it.
