ICB ARTISTS PARTNER WITH THIS YEAR’S TEDxMARIN

The ICB Sausalito has announced they are one of the sponsors of 2020 TEDxMarin (TEDTalks) online broadcast Saturday Sept 12, beginning 6pm PST.

TEDxMarin will feature 16 never-before seen TED talks and some exclusive performances, curated and filmed exclusively for the 11th-anniversary Marin event. Included will be such topics as “Prison Reform via Shakespeare,” “Your Brain on Psychedelics,” and “All I Want for My Birthday is to Kill Earth Day”—a teen’s perspective. This year TEDxMarin is also including an Innovator/Artist Showcase, with submissions that were open to all Marin artists. Through the TEDxMarin review process, a number of ICB Artists have been selected for inclusion in the Showcase.

The ICB, a unique workplace for over 100 artists—including photographers, sculptors, painters, printmakers, fashion designers, jewelers and textile weavers—is a landmark historic building in Sausalito, steeped in the area’s shipbuilding roots and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists (for more, see www.icb-artists.com ).
