Loaded Ghost Gun Found Hidden In Car Near Sausalito
A loaded, unrealized handgun with a high-capacity magazine was found hidden in a vehicle during a routine traffic stop Saturday.
MARIN COUNTY — A loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine was found hidden in a vehicle during a routine traffic stop Saturday, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said.
The Glock 19 pistol's serial number wasn't registered to either of the vehicle's occupants, who were arrested on weapons charges, deputies said.
Their vehicle was pulled over for a code violation as it exited the southbound off-ramp of U.S. Highway 101 and Donahue Street in Sausalito about 12:50 p.m., deputies said.

The gun was found under the front passenger seat in an ensuing search, deputies said.
