Marin County Coronavirus Update: 39 New Cases, Two New Deaths

MARIN COUNTY, CA – There were 39 new coronavirus cases reported in Marin County on Wednesday, health officials have announced.

The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases to 9,492. There are currently 961 active cases in the county, which is 133 fewer active cases than last reported.

To date, there have been two additional coronavirus-related deaths in Marin County, bringing the total number of deaths to 131.

There have been a total of 297,454 coronavirus tests administered in Marin County.

According to health officials, there are currently 31 patients hospitalized with coronavirus and 10 in intensive care.

At residential care and skilled nursing facilities, there have been 698 total coronavirus cases. There are currently 61 positive coronavirus cases at such facilities. To date there have been 110 coronavirus-related deaths at skilled nursing facilities.
