Authorities searching the area near the work site found Nunez Sanchez’s body buried under some brush and branches, deliberately hidden from view by someone in the estimation of officers on the scene according to police.

“After several weeks of court testimony in front of a Marin County Superior Court jury, Alejandre was found guilty of first-degree murder,” police said in a news release.

“Although nothing will be able to fill the void of this senseless crime, SRPD Detectives have been determined to pursue justice for the family of Nunez Sanchez.”
