Mill Valley Rain Forecast This Weekend: National Weather Service

A cold front will drop temperatures as much as 20 degrees in just one day.

MILL VALLEY, CA — It's been a long time since the North Bay had measurable rainfall, but the National Weather Service forecast calls for light rain between Friday and Sunday.

Warm, summer-like temperatures on Thursday will give way to sharply lower temperatures on Friday — as much as 20 degrees cooler in spots, accompanied by wind.

The cold front bringing the temperature change will also contain rain. It will be light — just a total of a tenth to a quarter of an inch in most locations.

Mill Valley is slated to see a 20 percent chance of showers Friday, with a 30 percent chance of showers that night. Saturday and Sunday will also see a 20 percent chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service.
