MILL VALLEY, CA — Schuyler Hoeberichts scored three goals and had two assists Saturday as Tamalpais High defeated San Rafael 5-1 in a Marin County Athletic League game.

The Tamalpais High’s boys’ soccer standout leads the MCAL with 35 points (14 goals, seven assists).

Goalie Sam Clark was credited with the shutout.

Jason Kunz and sophomore Griffen Gustafson each added a goal for Tamalpais (11-2-3, 9-1-5 MCAL), which trails first-place Redwood (11-2-3, 10-2-2) by percentage points going into the regular season’s last week.

Tamalpais concludes league play Thursday against San Marin. Redwood wraps up league play Thursday against Terra Linda.
