Shelter-In-Place Briefly Issued For Weekend Mill Valley Fire

The fire also forced the closure of an exit from Highway 101.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a storage facility in Mill Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The fire broke out at Mill Valley Stor-All on Redwood Highway Frontage.

The incident prompted a shelter-in-place advisory for residents near Shelter Ridge and Enchanted Knolls and briefly closed a no-name exit on southbound 101.

The Mill Valley Police Department said smoke was still visible in the area late Saturday afternoon.

There is currently no reported cause for the fire.
