Soph QB Braden Young Leads Tam High To Fifth Straight Win

MILL VALLEY, CA β€” Braden Young threw for 346 yards and four touchdowns β€” three of which went to his favorite target, Samuel Reade β€” and Tamalpais High extended its winning streak to five games with a 40-6 Marin County Athletic League victory over Archie Williams on Saturday.

The sophomore standout completed 20 of 25 passes with no interceptions.

Tam High (6-2, 5-0 MCAL) closes out its regular season against its two toughest opponents.

The Red-tailed Hawks play host to San Marin (7-1, 4-1 MCAL) Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Mustangs are coming off their first loss, 21-14 to Marin Catholic (7-1, 3-0 MCAL) on Saturday.

Tam High plays at Marin Catholic on Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. in a regular season finale for both teams that figures to have league championship implications.

In Saturday's game, Reade caught nine passes for 122 yards and Billy Kuhns had six receptions for 116 yards.

Sebastian Chen rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries.

Sophomore Jake Son had 15 tackles and Will Brunz had seven tackles and three sacks to lead the Red-tailed Hawks defensively.
