Tam Valley School Closed, Other Schools Open In Mill Valley
Tam Valley School is closed, but other schools in Mill Valley School District remain open Wednesday as PG&E starts its power shutoffs.
MILL VALLEY, CA — Tam Valley School is closed, but other schools in Mill Valley School District remain open Wednesday as Pacific Gas and Electric Company starts its Public Safety Power Shutoffs across several regions of the San Francisco Bay Area.
As of Wednesday morning, Tam Valley School at 350 Bell Lane is the only school in the district without power, according to district officials. The school site is closed for all students. All certificated and classified Tam Valley staff, however, were instructed to report at their normally scheduled time.
Mill Valley School District remains open, including the district office, Park School, Old Mill, Edna Maguire, Strawberry Point School and Mill Valley Middle School.
