MONROVIA, CA — Lowe's Home Improvement opened its first-ever outlet store in Monrovia Tuesday.

The new appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves and microwaves, will be up to 70 percent off. However, there is one small catch — the appliances will come slightly imperfect with a dent or scratch, ABC 7 reported.

The Lowe's outlet is at 725 W. Huntington Drive in Monrovia. The 31,000-square-foot store is at the former location of Orchard Supply Hardware.

"The community seems really excited about it," store manager Dayna Brown told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. "Other outlet stores have returned units and used units, but everything you see here in Lowe’s Outlet is brand new, just slightly imperfect. Somewhere in transit it has been scratched or dented, maybe on its way to a customer’s house, and it made its way to the Outlet."

Customers may also purchase a warranty for their appliances.
