MONROVIA, CA — Monrovia-based Trader Joe's has recalled its grainless granola product after being told by its supplier of a potential listeria contamination, the company announced Wednesday.

The company is recalling Trader Joe’s Grainless Granola with the best-by date codes from 032818 through 041018. The affected products, sold at stores in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Vermont, have been pulled from shelves.

According to the Food and Drug Administration's notice, the supplier has already fixed the source of the potential contamination. No one has been sickened by the product to date, Trader Joe's said.
