Monrovia Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting His Father Is Arrested

Curtiss Booker Jr. was arrested without incident in Las Vegas Sunday, according to the Rialto Police Department.

MONROVIA, CA — A Monrovia wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of his father in Rialto earlier this month was arrested Sunday afternoon without incident in Las Vegas, according to authorities.

Members of the Las Vegas Police Department arrested 31-year-old Curtiss Booker Jr. at a Las Vegas house in the 6800 block of Baby Jade Court.

Booker Jr. was wanted in connection to the death of his father, Curtiss Booker Sr., who was found dead at a Rialto home on July 5.

Witnesses told officers the two were arguing in front of the home when Booker Sr. was shot. Officers found the 58-year-old man lying in the front yard of the home with a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries.
