Canine companions may have a new place to frolic in Monrovia as officials eye adding a dog park to Recreation Park.

While there are no concrete plans, residents are invited to learn more about the possible park and give their thoughts on one during a community meeting scheduled for next month, city officials said.

Although Monrovia’s parks may be dog friendly, there are no facilities within the city devoted to them, according to an internet search.
