Storm Prompts Power Outages In Monrovia

More than 600 Southern California Edison customers were affected.

MONROVIA, CA – Two power outages were restored in Monrovia Thursday after more than 600 Southern California Edison customers were affected. The first outage was off of Historic Route 66/Huntington Drive and is affecting 590 customers, according to SCE. Power was expected to be restored by 2:30 p.m.

The second outage was reported nearby, but was only affecting 13 customers, SCE reported. It was expected to be restored by 12:30 p.m. today. Both outages were caused by the storm drenching Southern California.
