Watch out Corvallis here comes Patricia Morris!

I can remember when I was first introduced to the then 6'4" 13 year old Patricia Morris. Shy, a little reserved but extremely bright and well rounded. Even as a 13 year old she had her priorities in order. Patricia excelled in academics and always placed them before athletics. Being a three sport athlete, swimming, tennis and basketball, she seemed to be able to do anything she put her mind to. Coming from a very loving and structured home, Patricia would find all the support she would need from her family. With Patricia's parents, Kevin and Emily Morris both being in the field of education they emphasized education and always provided their children with the resources to succeed. She is currently ranked fourth in her class academically with a stellar 4.4 GPA. Morris averaged 17.3 points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game during her high school junior season. I had the privilege of coaching her through the Adidas Grassroots Gauntlet on a joint venture of Skill Set and OC Elite Basketball. Seeing her maturation and growth, not only in size, which is currently 6'7" but in skill and IQ has been marveling. She has truly become a complete player. I can't wait to cheer her on in the orange and black of the Oregon State Beavers.
