You Can Celebrate New Year's Eve In Old Town Monrovia

City officials are set to throw Monrovia's annual New Year's Eve celebration on Myrtle Avenue.

MONROVIA, CA — Monrovia residents and visitors still in need of New Year's Eve plans can come to Old Town on Friday as the city will throw its annual end of the year celebration.

The festivities will be held entirely outdoors along Myrtle Avenue and begins at 7 p.m., city officials said. The celebration is presented in part by the Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board and the Old Town Merchants.

The New Year's Eve celebration will feature live music and outdoor dining opportunities from Old Town Monrovia residents. The event is free to attend, and parking is freely available around the Old Town area, according to city officials.

Childcare services will be available at the Monrovia Community Center from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. for a $20 fee. The service requires registration in advance.
