Alleged DUI Driver In Napa Likely Caused Power Outage: Police

An alleged DUI driver was likely the cause of a Napa power outage yesterday when he drove his truck up the support wires of a power pole.

NAPA, CA - An alleged DUI driver was likely the cause of a Napa power outage yesterday when he drove his truck up the support wires of a neighborhood power pole, according to Napa police.

Police say power in the area of Coombs Street and Imola Avenue was quickly restored by PG&E.

The driver of the truck was arrested by Napa police and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.
