SAN FERNANDO VALLEY -- Masked burglars smashed a glass door and then broke through a wall to burglarize a San Fernando Valley pharmacy early Friday morning, according to the LAPD.

At about 12:30 a.m., a group of either two or three masked people broke the glass door of a business at 13745 Victory Blvd., then used a sledgehammer to smash through a wall and enter a pharmacy on the other side, a witness told Los Angeles police, as reported by stringer service OnScene.TV.

The criminals are said to have spent about 30 minutes ransacking the pharmacy and stealing merchandise. The exact amount has yet to be determined, however. Video shows the perpetrators also rifled through office cabinets.
