NOVATO, CA – The Novato Unified School District is under new leadership.
The district on Tuesday elected Derek Knell as president and Debbie Butler as vice president/clerk.
Knell has served on the board since 2005 and has previously served as president.

The board also named Julie Jacobson as trustee representative to the Marin County School Boards Association.
