12.14.21 NUSD Rapid Antigen Test Kit Distribution and Reporting Information

Dear NUSD Staff and Community,

As part of Marin County’s Post-Holiday “Return to School” Rapid Antigen Testing effort, staff and student(s) will be given an iHealth COVID-19 Test Kit at school this week with instructions.  This testing effort is to help keep our schools safe after the 2-week Winter Break.

We strongly encourage staff and students to take the test on January 3 , 2022, for students and most staff members, and January 2, 2022, for some staff members, before they return to school or work on January 4, 2022, or January 3, 2022, respectively.

Instructions on how to take the test and report the results – both negative and positive – can be found at below:

  • Marin Schools Post-Holiday “Return to School” Rapid Antigen Testing Instructions for Marin County Students and Staff

The iHealth Test Kits contain 2 tests and only one (1) is needed for this post-holiday “return to school” testing.  The other test should be used in the event staff or students experience COVID-19 symptoms, whenever this may occur.  If they use the test for symptoms, please report the results whether they are positive or negative. The NUSD Scan Code is below and if you are unable to scan the code, please use this link:   https://my.primary.health/l/novatounified
