22-Year-Old Motorist Killed In Rancho Mirage Crash ID'd By Coroner

The local resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — A motorist killed over the weekend in Rancho Mirage after crashing into a tree was identified Friday as a 22-year-old local man.

Charlie Garcia Rodriguez of Rancho Mirage died minutes after the 6:10 p.m. Aug. 11 solo-vehicle crash on Highway 111, just east of Paxton Drive, according to the coroner's bureau.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
