2.8-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Peninsula

BREAKING: The temblor struck at 7:36 a.m.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA – A 2.8-magnitude earthquake struck in Pacifica this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at 7:36 a.m., had a depth of 8.1 kilometers and was centered near Sharp Park Road in Pacifica.

No damage has been reported as a result of the quake.
