Construction Coordination In The Evergreen Park/California Avenue Area In Palo Alto

The City is coordinating construction projects in the Evergreen Park/California Avenue area.

The Public Safety Building contractor has begun work, including relocating service from the transformer in parking lot C-6. Traffic control will be in place as this work continues. Later this month, the temporary reconfiguration of the County Courthouse parking lot will occur, and a construction trailer will be set up, resulting in the closure of Sherman Ave between Park Blvd and Birch Street and parking lot C-6 is expected to close. Visitors to the area are encouraged to park in the California Avenue Garage located at 350 Sherman Avenue. In addition, City Utilities started work on a gas main replacement project on Ash Street, Grant Avenue, and Park Boulevard.

Signage will be posted with contractor and City contact details and details on this work was mailed to residents and businesses in and around the Evergreen Park/California Avenue area.
