Palo Alto Civic Center Plaza Undergoing Waterproof Repair Project

The public can expect loud noise initially during construction, but things should quiet down during installation.

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto’s Civic Center Plaza is undergoing a waterproof repair project that is projected to last through May.

Work on the plaza began Mar. 9 and will limit access to the front door of City Hall, though there will be access through at least one door, according to the city.

The existing waterproofing system that runs along the City Hall plaza deck will be demolished and replaced.
