Palo Alto Council Meetings Head Back To Remote For Two Weeks

The recent surge in COVID-19 cases resulted in several service changes in Palo Alto.

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto City Council meetings will be virtual for the next two weeks because of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.

The Jan. 10 and Jan. 24 meetings will be fully remote, the city announced Thursday.

In other changes, the study rooms for the Palo Alto Public Library at Mitchell Park, Rinconada and Downtown Libraries will be closed.

The Development Center is also closing in-person appointments through Jan. 24.
