Palo Alto Libraries Serving As Warming Centers During Cold Snap

They are a few of several warming centers throughout Santa Clara County.

PALO ALTO, CA — Several Palo Alto libraries are serving as warming centers this week as the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for the Bay Area through Thursday night.

The College Terrace Library, Mitchell Park Library and Rinconada Library are a few warming centers throughout Santa Clara County that are open this week as temperatures have plunged below freezing overnight.

Two overnight locations are also available in San Jose.
