PALO ALTO, CA — A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the armed robber who held up a Taco Bell restaurant last month, Palo Alto police said Friday.

The restaurant at 910 East Charleston Road was robbed about 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 20, according to police.

A lone employee in his 20s, who was about to close for the night, was confronted by a gunman in a ski mask who demanded money from the registers, police said. The suspect then demanded any additional money in the store, and the victim said he would get more from the back.
