Palo Alto's Municipal Services Center To Hold Open House

Local food trucks will be on hand, and people will be able to learn about electric vehicles and dance to live music.

PALO ALTO, CA — The Palo Alto community is invited to an open house hosted by the city’s Municipal Services Center on June 18, where they’ll be able to see “behind the scenes” work.

The center at 3201 E. Bayshore Road will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Local food trucks will be on hand, and people will be able to learn about electric vehicles and dance to live music, according to the event page.

The utilities line crew pole climbing team will have climbing demonstrations every hour — 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Other demonstrations include information of what’s inside a transformer, how utility meters work and how bucket trucks and heavy equipment operate.
