REMEMBERING MICHAEL

Michael Davis touched many lives with his story of change from, as he once put it, “a sick puppy” to an upstanding leader and admired man. His impact on the lives of Team Members cannot be understated and will be felt far into the future. His leadership was essential in our growth, impact, and changing perception of homelessness. He will be sorely missed and never replaced. As one of our graduates, Shannon, puts it, “Michael was DST.”

As many of us know, Michael’s favorite thing to do was give little speeches and share his story because he knew how powerful and how impactful it was to show how much he changed by explaining his journey and where he came from. He empowered our Team Members and he inspired us. For many of us he single-handedly changed our perceptions about homelessness. Now we invite you to share your memories, photos and stories about Michael with everyone. Send everything to Marianna at [email protected]. We’ll post them to our website for everyone to enjoy.
