SBC teams up with San Jose Sharks for ‘Save a Life’ Blood Drive

Roll up your sleeve at SAP Center at San Jose on January 7 for chance to win Sharks tickets

STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford Blood Center (SBC) and the San Jose Sharks are teaming up once again for the annual “Save a Life” Blood Drive. The drive takes place on Saturday, January 7 on the North Concourse at SAP Center at San Jose (525 W. Santa Clara Street) from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Donors should enter through the North Entrance.

Each donor who comes to the drive will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets for the Sharks game vs. the Dallas Stars on January 18. In addition, four lucky donors will earn the grand prize – a set of four tickets for a Penthouse Suite to the Sharks game vs. the Edmonton Oilers on January 13.

“This is always one of our most popular drives, so we’re thrilled to be heading back to the ‘Shark Tank’ again this year. We have a current need for All Blood Types, especially Type O, so donors can make a lasting impact on their community and have a chance to score some great hockey tickets,” says SBC Spokesperson Ross Coyle. “Cancellations due to illness and the recent weather have significantly impacted the blood supply, so this is your chance to be an MVP. Just an hour of your time can help save the lives of multiple patients.”
