SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — As parts of Santa Clara County will be under a heat advisory this weekend, several cooling centers will be open across the county.
The heat advisory applies in the county to the Santa Clara Valley between San Jose and Gilroy from 12 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday. Most of the Bay Area — including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma counties — will be under an advisory or warning, according to the National Weather Service.
