Serving as this year’s Grand Marshal is Allison Compton– Sitting Volleyball Paralympian. Compton’s determination to compete at the Olympic level led to the formation of a women’s volleyball team for the 2004 Paralympics in Athens. Team USA took the bronze medal that same year, and has received medals in every Paralympics since. “I look forward to participating in this long-standing, local tradition and am grateful for serving as this year’s Grand Marshal, which provides an opportunity to raise further awareness of the Paralympics, and how, in a first for Los Angeles, the city will host the 2028 Paralympic Games”, Compton said of being invited to participate this year.

Also featured is our Community Grand Marshals Pam Barrett-Hill & Jim Hill, recently named 2019 Citizens of the Year by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. New this year is our Hometown Marshal Dale Allen, a dedicated and committed member of the Rolling Hills Estates equestrian community.
