Cranes for Comfort Art Installed at Belmont Village Senior Living

According to Japanese Legend 1,000 Cranes Promises Good Health for Residents

Local girl scout’s gold award project took months of volunteer time to make 1,000 origami cranes into a beautiful piece of art that was installed at Belmont Village Senior Living Rancho Palos Verdes on August 16. High school senior Hana Meroth who created this program relies on a team of volunteers to complete and string them together. Over the past year, Belmont Village Assisted Living residents have been volunteering their time, twice a month to make this project come to life. The art promises to bring happiness and eternal good luck according to Japanese legend.
