PALOS VERDES, CA — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Thomas is a Varsity Starting QB at Chadwick School. He led the team twice to the playoffs (in Freshmen year his team did not have a season because of COVID). He is a 2X First Team All CIF QB, 2x Prep League First Team All League QB, 2x Prep League Offensive MVP, Offensive MVP - Team Award, Overall MVP - Team Award. He is currently being recruited by several colleges including: Yale, Brown, Harvard, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, Colgate University, Washington University, Carleton, Macalester, Chapman, Pomona and University of Chicago.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

He is an excellent competitor who works hard on the field and in the classroom. He trains year-round for football, while he is also a starter in Varsity Basketball. Finally, he is grateful for the hard-work his team and coaches put in because teamwork is crucial to success.
