Home Sales Open At 'The Residences' In Rolling Hills Estates

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA – Sales are underway at the tony, new golf-course development, "The Residences," a planned neighborhood of four- to six-bedroom, luxury homes built within the gates of the Rolling Hills Country Club on the Palo Verdes Peninsula.

Price tags range from upper $2 million to $5 million for the 114 homes and homesites, including 67 custom homes and 16 estate homesites offered by The Chadmar Group and 31 homes by Toll Brothers, according to developers.

Set on 228 acres, The Residences may be among the last, new housing communities to be built on the Peninsula.

The "Cliff May-inspired" California ranch houses, intended to keep with Rolling Hills Estates architecture, were designed by award-winning architect Robert Hidey, range from 3,500 to 5,600 square feet and are being sold as Modern Farmhouse, California Ranch, Interpretive Ranch, Adobe Ranch and European Ranch.

Homes feature open-concept designs, outdoor-living amenities, front porches and expansive glass doors to welcome coastal breezes and views of the fairways, the Los Angeles skyline and even the San Gabriel Mountains.

The Residences follow the recent opening of the Rolling Hills Country Club, an 18-hole, David McLay Kidd-designed golf course, inspired by Scotland courses with open fairways with challenging, contoured greens.
