Landslide Road Repairs Planned In Rancho Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Landslide roadway repairs are scheduled for Monday in Rancho Palos Verdes, city officials said.

The work is expected to complete the work that was conducted earlier this month along Palos Verdes Drive South. This project repaired the roadway surface between Peppertree Drive and west of Schooner Drive.

"The work consisted of lowering the road in some areas, raising the road in some areas, and repairing the surface to smooth it as needed," city officials said.

Only one lane of traffic is anticipated along the road, with traffic control personnel in place to help keep the work zone safe.

Drivers can expect delays in the area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

"All who must use this section of roadway next week are encouraged to slow down and drive cautiously through the work zone," city officials said.
