Music Center Scholarship Opens For Palos Verdes Students

The performing arts scholarships also provide master classes, audition opportunities and arts experiences.

PALOS VERDES, CA — Young artists are invited to apply for performing arts scholarships for Southern California high school students.

The Music Center on Friday opened the application period, which closes on Oct. 18. TMC's Spotlight provides winners with arts experiences, auditions, feedback and master classes taught by professional artists and art administrators, and awards more than $100,000 in annual scholarships.

There is no fee to apply for the scholarship, and students can apply in multiple categories.

To apply, participants will submit a taped audition. Applicants will receive written feedback from the judges' panel. There will be four rounds of auditions and classes, concluding with a grand finale performance on June 15, 2022, at TMC's Ahmanson Theatre.
