Ocean Water Use Warning Extends At San Pedro Beach

SAN PEDRO, CA — An ocean water use warning was extended Tuesday night for people surfing or playing at several Los Angeles County beaches, including Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cautions residents before visiting the following beaches:

  • Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
  • Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
  • Malibu Lagoon at Surfrider Beach
  • Topanga Canyon Beach in Malibu
  • Pico-Kenter Storm Drain at Santa Monica Beach Tower 20
  • Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro
  • Strand Extension at Santa Monica Beach

"The warnings have been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said.
