Palos Verdes Job Fair: Postal Service Seeks To Hire Thousands

In Los Angeles County the United States Postal Service is looking for more than 300 new mail carriers.

LOS ANGELES, CA — If neither, sleet, nor rain, nor snow deters you, the United States Postal Office has a job for you. The USPS is looking to hire 2,400 employees and will host job fairs across Los Angeles and Orange counties Thursday.

The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In Los Angeles County alone, the government is looking to hire more than 300 mail carriers to work out of 11 locations across the county. In Orange County, the USPS is looking to hire as many as 450 people.

The starting pay ranges from $19.33 to $19.94 an hour. The USPS offers paid holidays, vacation time, insurance and retirement benefits.
