PALOS VERDES, CA — An indoor and outdoor residential wood burning ban was extended through Wednesday due to high air pollution in Los Angeles County, according to the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

The air quality on the Palos Verdes Peninsula was moderate at about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Air Quality Index. The AQMD predicted that the air quality would worsen for all those living in non-desert portions of Los Angeles County.
