Every year, in order to commend citizens who have made outstanding contributions to the promotion and publicity of world culture, Fundación Para Los Derechos Humanos De Los MigrantesEn California is authorized by the president to issue commendation orders and medals to encourage and affirm citizens' excellent performance in the cultural field, so as to make their selfless love behavior widely known and become an excellent citizen model. In 2021, Fundación Para Los Derechos Humanos De Los MigrantesEn California hereby awarded the Presidential Medal based on the excellent contributions made by Ms. Lynn Tang, chairwoman of Maeya Culture Exchange Group, to the promotion of world culture over the years. Affected by the epidemic, Ms. Tang's medal awarding ceremony was merged with the awards ceremony of the three major film festivals of Maeya Culture Exchange group. At the scene of the film festival where she has always invested infinite energy and enthusiasm, the filmmakers and guests present witnessed this glorious and historic moment together.

Ms.Lynn Tang is a film and Broadway musical producer. Before the entertainment industry, she was a Project Manager specializing in international business exchange and she has served as a management specialist for Fortune 500 companies. In 2012, she established ST Culture Advocacy to provide a forum for showcasing international cinema and awarding academic scholarships. Her charitable organization promotes understanding and collaboration among people from different cultures. Through the production of movies, film festivals, art, music, dance, and other venues, she has provided audiences the opportunity to see cultural activities from all over the world. Attending these productions and shows can change the individual’s perception of themselves and the world by raising awareness of a variety of universal issues. These experiences can make them more aware, appreciative, and understanding of people from other cultures and engaged members of our community. She was also able to promote individual career development by providing international film delegates the opportunity to network and share their talent with potential partners and others who would not otherwise have the opportunity to see them. She was also successful in helping students pursue their education and careers by providing a platform to develop their talents through academic scholarships and cultural events. Her programs have empowered people to drive positive change in themselves, their organizations, and society.

The American story depends not on any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us. I congratulate you on taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good, and I'm proud to present you with the President's Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of your 100,000 hours of service to this great Nation.

Throughout our country's history, the American story has been strengthened by those who combine an optimism about what can be with the resilience to tum that vision into reality. I know I'm not alone in recognizing that those who are willing to step up and volunteer in service of community and country are essential to the ongoing work of forming our more perfect union.

By sharing your time and passion, you are helping discover and deliver solutions to the challenges we face - solutions that we need now more than ever. We are living in a moment that calls for hope and light and love. Hope for our futures, light to see our way forward, and love for one another. Through your service, you are providing all three.
