LONG BEACH, CA — A TikTok influencer who goes by 'Black Biden' helped nab a suspected child predator in Long Beach this month, according to authorities and media reports.

It wasn't the influencer's first bust, but the dramatic incident, which involved a foot chase, was captured on camera.

Long Beach police on Thursday arrested Cody Lane Oreiro, a 41-year-old Hawthorne man, on suspicion of arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes and one count of resisting a police officer, said Allison Gallagher, executive communications officer for the Long Beach Police Department.

Police arrived at the scene on the 700 block of Long Beach Boulevard in response to a report of a possible sex crime against a child, she said.

"As officers gave the suspect commands to surrender, the suspect did not comply and attempted to flee, resulting in a brief foot pursuit and subsequent use of force —a takedown," she added. "The suspect surrendered and was arrested and transported to Long Beach City Jail for booking."

It was Black Biden who set up the meeting, posing as a 14-year-old boy interested in a sexual encounter, FOX11 Los Angeles reported.

When Oreiro arrived at the fast food restaurant, he quickly recognized the trap and darted out the door, video shows. Black Biden tripped him as he ran by, and police tackled the suspect, who continued to wrestle.

"We got one today boys," Black Biden yells in the video. "Hey you ain't getting away, homeboy. You might as well just stop."

The influencer got involved with the scuffle when he thought he saw the suspect reaching for the officer's gun

"He's reaching back right toward the officer's gun, which is why I started grabbing his hand," he explained to Fox11. "You try to harm a child – I take that very seriously. Not today. Not on Black Biden’s watch."

Black Biden's TikTok and Instagram accounts feature several child predator sting operations initiated by the influencer.
