Celebrating International Day of Conscience

Tai Ji Men to Host a Series of Cultural Performances in Los Angeles

To celebrate the International Day of Conscience, Tai Ji Men, an international nonprofit organization of qigong and culture, will organize the “Conscience Festival” at Centennial Square in front of Pasadena City Hall on April 6th. Additionally, it will present cultural performances at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State LA on April 7th. These events will showcase the wonder of Eastern martial arts and underscore the significance of following one's conscience, inspiring people to use wisdom to resolve conflicts and encourage others to follow suit. During the April 7th event, Tai Ji Men will launch a global initiative called "Illuminating the Light of Peace."

The “Conscience Festival” will take place at Centennial Square in front of Pasadena City Hall from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on April 6, featuring a diverse array of cultural performances, including martial arts performances and energetic modern dances. Families can enjoy a variety of activities, like interactive audio-visual animations that are both educational and fun, as well as parent-child handicraft activities. An auspicious dragon mascot will be present, distributing lucky red envelopes to attendees. Moreover, a Conscience Culture Corridor will be set up, allowing participants to explore the transformative power of conscience. To foster conscience-driven education for children and future generations, attendees can make peace wishes on a wishing tree. Attendees will have a chance to receive beautifully-illustrated storybooks and other valuable mementos as gifts.

On April 7th, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, the "Concert of Gratitude and Blessings - Illuminating the Light of Peace" will be held at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State LA. This concert serves as a tribute to the enduring legacy of Madam Yu, Mei-Jung, who passed away three years ago. Madam Yu was the beloved wife of Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the zhang-men-ren (leader) of Tai Ji Men, and she dedicated her life to advocating for love and peace.
